1.学院介绍

上海财经大学商学院世界经济与贸易系、产业经济系现面向海内外诚聘优秀学者，拟聘助理教授（讲师）、副教授、以及教授若干名，入职时间为2026年秋季学期之前。我们特别关注应用微观经济学、产业组织、国际贸易、国际金融、宏观经济学等领域的候选人。

现诚邀研究成果突出、教学经验丰富的学者申报。我们将根据学术资历与专业成就评定相应职称与聘任资格。受聘者将获得具有国际竞争力的薪酬组合，包括基本薪资、科研启动经费、住房补贴及标准福利待遇。我们欢迎不同背景的申请人。

(1)研究工作与贡献。请评价申请人的主要研究主题、方法和原创性。特别希望听取您对其研究在相关文献中的位置和贡献的看法（例如：是否提出了新的理论机制、识别策略、或对重要政策问题提供了新的实证证据）。

(2)学术潜力与独立性。请说明申请人在研究中体现出的独立思考与创新能力，以及未来作为独立研究者（助理教授）持续产出高质量研究的潜力。

(3)教学与学术服务。若有了解，请简要评价申请人在教学、指导学生或参与学术共同体（seminars, refereeing, collaboration 等）方面的表现。

(4)综合评价与比较。请提供您对申请人的总体评价，可在适当情况下与同领域近年博士毕业生或初级学者进行比较。

1.ABOUT US

The College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics invites outstanding candidates to fill multiple full-time positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level beginning September 2026. We are particularly interested in candidates in Applied Microeconomics, Industrial Organization, International Trade, International Finance and Macroeconomics.

Candidates with excellent research and teaching records are especially encouraged to apply for senior positions. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Compensation package includes competitive salary, research fund, housing allowance, plus standard fringe benefits. We welcome candidates from all cultural backgrounds.

3.Guidelines for Reference Letters

To assist the recruiting committee in making a well-informed evaluation, we kindly ask referees to address, where possible, the following aspects in their reference letter for assistant professor candidates:

(1) Research Quality and Contribution

Please comment on the applicant s main research topics, methodologies, and originality. We would particularly appreciate your assessment of how the applicant s work contributes to the existing literature for example, whether it develops new theoretical mechanisms, employs innovative identification strategies, or provides novel empirical evidence on important policy or economic issues.

(2) Research Potential and Independence

Please evaluate the applicant s intellectual independence, creativity, and potential for producing high-quality research as an independent scholar in the coming years.

(3) Teaching and Academic Service

If applicable, please comment on the applicant s teaching ability, mentoring experience, or participation in academic activities such as seminars, collaboration, or peer review.

(4) Overall Evaluation and Comparison

Please provide your overall assessment of the applicant. When appropriate, you may compare the candidate with recent PhD graduates or junior scholars in the field (for instance, among the top x% of students I have supervised/known in recent years ).

(5) Additional Information

Any further information that may help us understand the applicant s academic character, collegiality, and potential for professional growth is also welcome.
