Job Description

The Commercial Analyst position is a key entry level role, enabling strong candidates to get immersed in a P&L driven environment, develop core analytical skills, and build up knowledge of the energy markets. The core contributions are to monitor and accurately capture trading P&L/ exposure, maintain trade capture database, develop an understanding of the operational events/ costs type and the consequential impact on trading P&L/ exposure. Essentially, supporting the day to day running of the trading desk. The Commercial Analyst also gets the opportunity to play the contributing role in risk management on corporate level and gain hands on experience in back office/ operational matters.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining detailed position summary for respective business unit

Compiling daily profitability reports enabling traders and brokers to determine how market moves are impacting their positions

Contributing to the weekly summary to Board on P&L movement

Ensure all deals have an accurate Mark to Market.

Maintain, calculate and issue daily price exposure to the Matrix Maintain profit / loss reporting to ensure these are accurate at all times.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required by brokers, traders, marketers and management

Qualifications

International Trade/Engineering/Technical/Marketing/Finance/IT bachelor degree or above with an outstanding academic record Strong quantitative and analytical capability and proficiency with Excel

Fluent in both Mandarin and English, written and verbal

Proficiency with VBA, Python, and R/Matlab would be an additional advantage

Good understanding of accounting and valuation concepts will be an additional advantage

商业分析师职位是一个关键的入门级职位，这个职位使优秀的候选人能够深入参与损益驱动的环境，发展核心分析技能，并积累对能源市场的知识。核心职责包括监控和准确捕获交易盈亏和风险，维护交易数据库，了解运营事件、成本类型以及对交易盈亏和风险的间接影响。主要职责为支持交易的日常运作。商业分析师也有机会在公司层面的风险管理中发挥重要作用，并在后台和运营事务中获得实践经验。

主要职责

维护所属业务单元的详细头寸汇总

编制每日盈利报告，帮助交易员和经纪人判断市场变动对其头寸的影响

参与向董事会汇报每周损益变动的总结

确保所有交易均有准确的市值计量

维护、计算并向矩阵发布每日价格敞口

维护损益报告，确保其始终准确

根据经纪人、交易员、市场人员及管理层的要求，进行临时分析

资格要求

国际贸易、工程、技术、市场、金融或信息技术相关专业本科及以上学历，拥有优异的学业成绩

具备较强的定量分析和数据分析能力，精通Excel

普通话和英语均需具备流利的书面和口头表达能力

熟练掌握VBA、Python和R/Matlab者优先

对会计和估值概念有良好理解者优先
